July’s activity generated about $4.9 million in event wagering privilege fees, contributing to $8.1 million collected through the early months of Fiscal Year 2027. Of that total, $7.9 million came from event wagering and $160,918 from fantasy sports contests.
Privilege fees — assessed on adjusted gross revenue, or wagers minus winnings — support a range of state programs and regulatory functions.
Cumulative Totals Since Legalization
Since Arizona launched legal sports betting in 2021, bettors have wagered approximately $36.6 billion, producing about $198.9 million in privilege fees for the state. The sustained growth reflects both market maturity and consistent consumer engagement across licensed operators.
