LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled left-handed pitcher Charlie Barnes and optioned right-handed pitcher Wyatt Mills.

Barnes, 30, rejoins the team for the second time this season. He has two scoreless appearances with one strikeout for the Dodgers this year. He has been in the Majors parts of two seasons with the Minnesota Twins (2021), Chicago Cubs (2026) and Dodgers (2026), recording an 0-3 mark with a 5.86 ERA in 40 innings. In six minor league seasons, he owns a 29-25 record with a 3.85 ERA and 397 strikeouts in 451.1 innings. He was a fourth-round draft pick by the Minnesota Twins in the 2017 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Clemson.

Mills, 31, tossed a scoreless inning last night, striking out the side. He is 0-0 with an 6.23 ERA in five games for the Dodgers this season. He has appeared in 26 games for Triple-A Oklahoma City, going 4-4 with a 2.64 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 30.2 innings. He has three Major League stints with Seattle (2021-22), Kansas City (2022) and Los Angeles (2026), posting an 0-1 record with a 6.22 ERA in 43 games. He has pitched in 213 minor league games (eight starts), recording a 25-15 record with a 3.15 ERA in 271 innings. He has posted a 1.11 WHIP with 339 strikeouts in his minor league career. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the third round of the 2017 First Year Player Draft by the Seattle Mariners out of the University of Gonzaga.
