WINNIPEG, MB. – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have announced the signing of American defensive back Jaiden Woodbey.

Jaiden Woodbey (6-0, 222; Boston College/Florida State): Born on January 20, 2000, in Fontana, CA, Woodbey joins the Blue Bombers following a season with the Massachusetts Pirates in the Indoor Football League, where he posted 53 combined tackles, three tackles for loss, and two passes defended across 11 games.
Woodbey began his professional football journey as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Rams in 2023, appearing in three preseason games.
He started his collegiate career at Florida State University (2018-2020), where he played in 24 games and recorded 45 solo tackles, eight tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. During his freshman year, Woodbey earned recognition on the ESPN Freshman All-American Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Team, and the ACC Honor Roll.
Woodbey later transferred to Boston College (2021-2022), where he played in 20 games, contributing 54 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, five pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries. He was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention twice during his time with the Eagles.
