SEATTLE – The Seattle Storm have officially acquired 2025 WNBA All-Star Brittney Sykes from the Washington Mystics in a high-impact trade that reshapes both rosters. In exchange, Seattle sends three-time WNBA Champion Alysha Clark, guard Zia Cooke, and a 2026 first-round draft pick to Washington.
Brittney Sykes Joins Seattle Storm
Sykes, one of the league’s premier two-way guards, is enjoying a standout season in 2025:
- 15.4 points, 4.3 assists, and 1.2 steals per game
- Shooting 31.8% from three-point range
- Earned her first WNBA All-Star selection this season
A defensive powerhouse, Sykes has been named to the WNBA All-Defensive Team four times:
