PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Pirates have claimed right-handed pitcher Jack Little off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers. Little has been assigned to Triple-A Indianapolis.
Major League Experience & Debut
Jack Little, 27, was designated for assignment by Los Angeles on August 4. He made two relief appearances for the Dodgers this season:
- MLB debut on June 19 vs. San Diego: 2.0 innings, 2 earned runs
- Second outing on July 5 vs. Houston: 1.0 scoreless inning
Triple-A Performance
Little spent the bulk of the season with Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he posted:
- 5–4 record
- 13 saves – most in the Pacific Coast League and among Dodgers minor leaguers
- 4.64 ERA (42.2 IP / 22 ER)
- 39 strikeouts in 36 appearances
