HARRISBURG, PA – At its August meeting, the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board voted to add 18 people to its Involuntary Exclusion Lists, barring them from all regulated gaming activities in the commonwealth—including casino floors, Video Gaming Terminals (VGTs), and state-licensed online sportsbooks and iCasino sites. With today’s action, the total number of excluded individuals climbs to 1,428.
Involuntary Casino Exclusions (10 Individuals)
• Two patrons who left minors unattended in casino parking lots:
– A man who left his 12-year-old alone for 22 minutes outside Rivers Philadelphia Casino while he gambled in the sportsbook.
– A man who left children aged 6 and 13 for 13 minutes in his vehicle at Live! Casino Philadelphia during sportsbook play.
These exclusions reinforce Pennsylvania’s prohibition on leaving minors unattended in casino-associated areas—including parking garages, hotel lobbies, or other on-site venues—citing the serious safety risks involved. To further discourage such behavior, the Board recently launched a “Don’t Gamble with Kids” public-awareness campaign in collaboration with licensed casinos.
Interactive Gaming Exclusions (8 Individuals)
• Persons found to have committed fraudulent or deceptive acts via online gaming platforms have been placed on the Involuntary Interactive Gaming Exclusion List, preventing any future access to regulated iGaming and sports betting sites.
Next Public Meeting
The Board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in the Public Hearing Room on the second floor of the Strawberry Square Complex, Harrisburg. An agenda and supporting materials will be posted on the Board’s website in advance.
