The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has taken decisive action to enhance regulatory enforcement by placing 14 individuals on various Involuntary Exclusion Lists. These measures effectively bar them from gambling activities across Pennsylvania, whether in physical casinos, online gaming platforms regulated by the Board, or Video Gaming Terminal locations.
Following recommendations from the Board’s Office of Chief Counsel and Office of Enforcement Counsel, the total number of individuals now on these exclusion lists has risen to 1,391.
Notable Exclusions
Among the individuals added to the Involuntary Casino Exclusion List, one case stands out:
- A woman who left her seven-month-old twins unattended in a vehicle at Valley Forge Casino Resort for five minutes while cashing out at the sportsbook.
Such incidents serve as a stark reminder that casinos strictly prohibit leaving minors unattended in any area—including parking lots, garages, hotels, or other casino venues—due to safety risks. To raise awareness and prevent future occurrences, the Board continues to promote its “Don’t Gamble with Kids” campaign.
Additionally, nine individuals have been added to the Involuntary Interactive Gaming Exclusion List due to fraudulent activities related to online gambling.
Next Meeting
The Gaming Control Board will convene its next meeting on Wednesday, 25 June 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Public Hearing Room at the Strawberry Square Complex in Harrisburg. The agenda and additional details will be available on the Board’s website prior to the meeting.
