THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
• Tonight’s game is the second of three consecutive games the Kraken will play against Canadian opponents and also the second of three straight games in which they will face Atlantic Division teams. They will next take on Montreal on Dec. 7. • If the Kraken earn at least a point tonight, it would give them points all three games they have played against the Senators in Ottawa. Seattle has a 1-0-1 record when playing at Canadian Tire Centre. • If he plays, tonight will mark Joey Daccord’s first-ever game against Ottawa. He was originally selected by the Senators in the seventh round (199th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft and was a member of the Senators organization until he was selected by the Kraken in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft. o Daccord, who played three seasons of collegiate hockey at Arizona State University, became the first player in program history to sign an NHL entry-level contract when he did so on April 1, 2019 with the Senators. • Entering play Friday, Vince Dunn was ranked in the top 10 among all NHL defensemen in assists (16; tied sixth), points (19, tied eighth) and power-play points (eight, tied 10th). • Jamie Oleksiak is leading the Kraken and was ranked fourth in the NHL with 63 blocked shots entering play Friday.

• Matty Beniers has three points (two goals, one assist) in three career games against Ottawa. The Senators are one of nine teams that Beniers has played at a point-per-game pace against in his career thus far, with the others being Anaheim (2.24), Detroit (2.0), Arizona (1.5), Buffalo (1.5), Chicago (1.25), Los Angeles (1.2), Boston (1.0), Montreal (1.0) and Philadelphia (1.0). • Vince Dunn has 10 points (three goals, seven assists) in nine career games against Ottawa.
