WARM-UPS
1) Kevin Fiala registered his seventh goal for his 30th point of the season (7-23=30) last night vs. San Jose. Fiala joins Anze Kopitar (13-18=31) as the second Kings skater this season to hit the 30-point mark. It is the second consecutive season Fiala has recorded at least 30 points in the first 31 games to begin a season (9-23=32 in 2022-23). Fiala is only the second Kings skaters in the last decade to achieve such feat, joining Kopitar (3x, Last: 8-29=37 in 2020-21).
2) The Kings are 6-1-1 against Pacific Division opponents this season.
3) Drew Doughty sits one point away (4-15=19) from becoming the 11th skater and first defenseman in league history to record 20 points against the Golden Knights.
4) Jordan Spence tallied his 12th assist of the season last night for points in back-to-back games (0-1=1 on Dec. 23 vs. CGY). It is the third time this season Spence has recorded a point in back-to-back games, tying Drew Doughty for the most instances among Kings defenseman this campaign.
5) Phillip Danault has five points (1-4=5) in his last five games against the Golden Knights, dating back to Dec. 27, 2022.

THE BACK-TO-BACKS
Vegas will face Los Angeles in the second game of their sixth back-to-back this season. So far this season, Vegas is 2-1-3 in the first game of a doubleheader and 1-2-1 in the second game. This is the second time the Golden Knights and Kings will be meeting on the back end of a back-to-back out of the three times they match up this season. The last time Vegas faced Los Angeles in the second game of a doubleheader, the Golden Knights defeated the Kings, 4-3, in a shootout.

The Golden Knights will close its third regular season series this year with the Kings tonight. Vegas has already closed its series with Dallas (3-0-0) and Philadelphia (1-0-1) and Los Angeles will be the first Pacific Division opponent that Vegas will not face again during the regular season.

Vegas captain Mark Stone extended his road point streak to eight games (4-5—9) with his goal in Anaheim. The Vegas captain has matched his career-best road point streak since joining the Golden Knights (8 GP in 2022-23). Stone now has 15 points in his last 10 games, including seven points in his last five. The captain is one of six Vegas skaters who have appeared in all 36 games this season.

The Golden Knights will return home for the first time in 10 days after playing their last four contests on the road. During its last homestand, Vegas went 3-1-0. With their 12-3-2 record at T-Mobile Arena this season, the Golden Knights have recorded 26 points at home, the most in the NHL on home ice.
