NFL to Host a Pop-up Event to Celebrate Collection on Feb. 8 in Las Vegas
NEW YORK — The National Football League today announced the third installment of Origins: An NFL Collection for the Super Bowl featuring three local Las Vegas brands: FEATURE, Love, Hand & Heart and Urban Necessities.
Origins: An NFL Collection is an ongoing merchandise collaboration program that provides an opportunity for local designers in NFL event host cities to create and sell Super Bowl-themed merchandise that highlights their creative prowess and connection to the community.
“Now in its third year, Origins: An NFL Collection continues to be a testament to the NFL’s commitment to supporting our event host cities while enhancing the fan experience through fashion and design,” said Joe Ruggiero, senior vice president of consumer products at the NFL. “We are happy to welcome FEATURE, Love, Hand & Heart and Urban Necessities to the Las Vegas chapter of Origins, and to highlight their creativity and imaginativeness through Super Bowl LVIII merchandise.”
For this year’s collection, the NFL handpicked three brands rooted in Las Vegas culture to collaborate with ahead of Super Bowl LVIII, taking place on Feb. 11, 2024, in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. FEATURE, Love, Hand & Heart, and Urban Necessities will each produce exclusive capsule lines of merchandise, together producing a Super Bowl LVIII collection that showcases their interpretation of the liveliness of Las Vegas at the pinnacle event in NFL football.
- FEATURE is a multi-brand boutique founded by three Las Vegans offering an elevated shopping experience while giving back to their community through their Doing Good Things Foundation.
- Love, Hand & Heart is a woman-owned wearable art company empowering customers to be bold, take up space, create space for others and seek out joy in life.
- Urban Necessities is a sneaker resale and consignment shop founded by husband-and-wife duo, Jaysse and Joanie Lopez, who went from visionary entrepreneurs to sneaker royalty. Through building an empire truly focused on the community, they have transcended retail and become synonymous with cultures of sneakers, art and collectibles.
The NFL will launch the collection at a pop-up event in Las Vegas, produced by Six Degrees, a black-owned marketing agency, at the venue space, Nine Twenty on Feb. 8. Fans are invited to exclusively shop the merchandise and mingle with the brands behind the collection while enjoying music and refreshments. The event is free to the public. To register, visit NFL.com/origins. For fans outside of Las Vegas, select styles from the collection will be sold online at NFLshop.com/origins beginning Feb. 9.
LA-based directing duo madebyJAMES from the production company, BASEWOOD, will also return to direct video features on each of the brands for our accompanying social media campaign for the program.
