Broadcast Rights to Continue Through the 2026 NFL Season
Mexico City – The National Football League today announced a contract renewal with TelevisaUnivision to expand league broadcast rights in Mexico through the 2026 NFL season – continuing to promote the growth of American football across the country.
The renewal will see the NFL extend its relationship of more than 50 years with TelevisaUnivision including rights for select regular season NFL games, playoff games and Super Bowl LIX across free-to-air television and Canal 5 (Channel 5) as well as additional distribution on their fast-growing streaming service ViX.
TUDN, TelevisaUnivision’s sports division, will continue to produce NFL Blitz, a Sunday show that offers the best highlights and all the action around the NFL.
“We are proud to extend our partnership with the NFL for three more years”, said Olek Loewenstein, President of Global Sports at TelevisaUnivision. “Our commitment for the future is the same that it has been for more than 50 years: provide millions of NFL fans in Mexico with the best coverage and viewing experience in the country.”
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with TelevisaUnivision through the 2026 NFL season, following more than 50 successful years with the organization,” said Managing Director of NFL Mexico, Arturo Olivé. “We continuously work to bring Mexican fans closer to the game and this extension, with the wide range of options across NFL programming, allows for an incredible sports experience for fans across the country.”
The TelevisaUnivision team of NFL experts will be led by Antonio de Valdés, Enrique Burak and Guillermo Shutz, bringing combined commentary experience across more than 75 Super Bowl broadcasts.
TelevisaUnivision will have broader distribution than ever before, meeting NFL fans where they are and allowing for tune-in across platforms.
