“They call him the problem fighter,” said King. “He is a problem for all the fighters he deals with. On June 9, The Problem will be facing Hutchinson, who hasn’t lost a fight in seven years. ‘Hutch’ says he is going to solve the problem on June 9, but The Problem will be throwing leather from all kinds of ways Hutchinson has never seen before. It’s going to be a great card top to bottom. We are giving the people what they want on June 9. This is a problem card and I’m happy to be in the middle of it.”

“I am very focused in my training and for June 9,” said Broner. “I’m going to fight this guy who hasn’t lost in 7 years. Come June 9 we got some stuff in store. We’re not looking at this guy as a stepping stone, but I have set some goals, and everyone knows I don’t set my goals low. I want to become world champion once again under the Don King stable. First, I’ve got to get thru Hutchinson then we are going to pursue the 140-pound title. Then I want to become undisputed. It all starts June 9 and I am going to in there and put in a show.”

“I signed up for this fight not to collect a check. I signed up for this fight to win,” said Hutchinson. “I have full confidence that’s going to happen on June 9. I will be in the ring June 9, prepared to fight, and there will be no quit in me. June 9 is going to be a problem for Adrien Broner.”

Broner (34-4-1, 24 KOs), born and raised in Cincinnati, OH, made his pro debut 2008 at nineteen years old. In 2011, Broner won WBC, WBO and WBC regional titles in back-to-back-to-back fights. Hutchinson (20-2-4, 9 KOs) was born, raised and lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “Hutch” and has not lost a fight in seven years. The thirty-four-year-old began boxing at thirteen. After a few quick wins by knockout, it was difficult to find opponents, so he was in and out of the gym through his teen years, focusing on football. Because of his limited amateur career, he had a rough start to his pro career, losing his debut at 22 and drawing twice in his first six fights. He then strung wins, while gaining a huge following in his region, calling comparisons to Arturo Gatti for his style and states he has never been in a boring fight I his life. Quite the intellect, Hutch began taking college courses at fifteen, has his law degree and has law offices in both Pittsburgh and Naples, Florida. “For those that don’t know me, they will after I beat Broner.”

WBA NABA Light Heavyweight Champion Ahmed “The American Pharaoh” ElBiali (22-1, 18 KOs) was born in Cairo, Egypt and now resides in Miami, Florida. • TEX is season-high 20 G above .500 for the 1st time since end of 2016 (95-67)…this is just the 8th season in TEX history to be 20-over at any point, and the earliest date/fewest games (6/6 and 60 G) to do it (prev. 6/19 and 70 G in 2016).

STREAKING: The Rangers have won a season-best 5 straight games, longest single-season win streak since a 5-0 span from 7/31-8/5/19…since that last 5-G Rangers win streak in 2019, every other MLB team had produced at least one win streak of 5+ G…only win streak of 6+ G since start of
