The New Zealander is 14-7 overall with four of those seven losses happening in his last four fights. Each of those defeats happened inside the distance, two by KO/TKO and two by submission.

Tuivasa doesn’t have to worry much about getting submitted at UFC 305 as that’s not Rozenstruik’s style.

Instead, the Tuivasa vs. Rozenstruik fight is going to be a clash of two strikers. So, should Tuivasa worry about getting put to sleep?

Well, his last two KO/TKO losses happened against two elite strikers, Cyril Gane and Sergei Pavlovich. Gane is a Muay Thai legend who had his shot at the UFC Heavyweight title in the fight with Jon Jones. Pavlovich is a fast-handed giant who fought Tom Aspinall for the interim title. Tuivasa’s next opponent is nowhere near as good a striker as those two. But this doesn’t mean Rozenstruik is bad.

The UFC Heavyweight Division is once again elite, with Jon Jones sitting on the throne and Stipe Miocic, Tom Aspinal, and others looking to dethrone him. Although Jairzinho Rozenstruik is far from being someone with the right to even dream about the championship belt, a few more wins could get him there.

Bigi Boy already has a pretty impressive portfolio with a 14-5 record. He’s fought against some real UFC legends in the past, beating guys like Andrei Arlovski, Alistar Overeem, Junior dos Santos, and Augusto Sakai.

However, in the last couple of years, he’s been a sort of a gatekeeper for the heavyweight division, fighting against up-and-coming fighters like Curtis Blaydes and Jailton Almeida, both of whom beat him. In his most recent fight, Rozenstruik showed the world that he can take his fighting to the next level when needed. He beat Shamil Gaziev by TKO after the previously undefeated fighter retired from the fight following four rounds of intense striking.
