Sharabutdin “Shara Bullet” Magomedov is one of the most interesting UFC prospects today. Also known as the Dagestani Pirate for the fact that he lost his eye due to fighting, Magomedov is 13-0 overall with 11 wins by knockout/technical knockout. He’s favored to add another victory to his resume, but it won’t be easy as he’s taking on Michal Oleksiejczuk, who’s by far his toughest opponent to date.

Sharabutdin Magomedov seems to be everyone’s fascination at the moment, but it’s not just because of his mixed martial arts skills. This guy looks scary with a big bushy beard and a glass eye, not to mention that there’s footage of him causing violence in his native Dagestan. Probably the most infamous video is the one of him attacking a couple for kissing in public.

He’s violent on the streets as well as in the Octagon. His strongest weapon is striking, the evidence being that he’s got an 84.61% knockout-to-win ratio. However, he’s only fought twice in the UFC.

On his debut, he defeated Bruno Silva by decision in a fight in which he landed almost twice as many significant strikes as his opponent. However, he got taken down three times by Silva, who showed everyone that Shara isn’t much of a wrestler despite being from Dagestan.

This, however, shouldn’t worry him much as his opponent at UFC on ABC 7 isn’t famous for his takedowns. Instead, same as Shara, Michal Oleksiejczuk too is all about striking.

Instead, the UFC on ABC 7 is almost certainly going to be a striking match. This suits Oleksiejczuk as he’s a fantastic kickboxer who lands more than 5 significant strikes a minute. He’s fast and strong and usually does well against other strikers. In fact, the last three times he fought kickboxers, he won – against Chidi Njokuani, Cody Brundage, and Sam Alvey.
