SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Minnesota Wild President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Bill Guerin announced today that forward Liam Ohgren has been recalled under emergency conditions from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Ohgren, 21, has contributed five points (2 goals, 3 assists), two penalty minutes (PIM), and 32 shots in 24 NHL games with Minnesota this season. In the AHL, he has registered 28 points (14 goals, 14 assists), five power-play goals (PPG), 85 shots, and six PIM in 29 games with Iowa this season. The 6-foot-1, 187-pound native of Stockholm, Sweden, ranks tied for second on Iowa in PPG, fourth in goals, and tied for sixth in both points and assists.
Ohgren’s outstanding performances earned him a selection to the 2025 AHL All-Star roster.
Over the course of his career, Ohgren has played in 28 NHL games across two seasons (2023–25), recording two points (1 goal, 1 assist) and eight shots in four games during the 2023–24 season. He scored his first NHL goal, which was also a game-winner (GWG), against San Jose on April 13, 2024. During the 2023–24 season, he also played three games for Iowa, recording 10 shots. Additionally, Ohgren tallied 19 points (12 goals, 7 assists) in 26 games with Farjestad BK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) that same year, ranking sixth in goals and tenth in points for the team.
Selected by the Wild in the first round (19th overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft, Ohgren wears sweater No. 28 with Minnesota.
Cameron Crotty (D)
Crotty, 25, has registered eight assists and 47 PIM in 56 games with Iowa this season, ranking tied for second among Iowa defensemen with 64 shots on goal. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound native of Ottawa, Ontario, recorded 13 points (3 goals, 10 assists), 28 PIM, and 87 shots in 55 games with the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) last season. Crotty made his NHL debut with the Arizona Coyotes on March 24, 2024, against Dallas, where he tallied two blocked shots and logged 10:03 of ice time.
Across his career, Crotty has posted 47 points (9 goals, 38 assists), 141 PIM, and 380 shots in 275 games over five AHL seasons with Tucson (2020–24) and Iowa (2024–25). He played collegiate hockey at Boston University (2017–20), recording 27 points (10 goals, 17 assists), 33 PIM, and 137 shots in 102 games. Crotty served as an alternate captain during his final season with Boston University. He was selected by Arizona in the third round (No. 82 overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.
Crotty signed a one-year, two-way contract with Minnesota on July 1, 2024, and currently wears sweater No. 34 for the Wild.
