Minnesota Lynx Acquire Myisha Hines-Allen in Trade with Washington

Former WNBA Champion and All-Star Joins Western Conference Leaders

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has acquired Myisha Hines-Allen from the Washington Mystics in exchange for Olivia Époupa, Sika Koné and Minnesota’s second round pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.

Hines-Allen, a 6’1 forward selected by Washington in the 2nd round of the 2018 WNBA Draft, has played in 27 games this season, averaging 8.0 points (48.9%), 4.9 rebounds and a career-high 2.7 assists in 19.1 minutes per contest. Over her seven-year career with the Mystics, she’s averaging 7.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 187 contests while shooting 43.3% from the field and 35.1% from three-point range.

The 28-year-old Montclair, N.J., native earned All-WNBA Second Team honors in 2020 after posting career-best averages of 17.0 points (51.0%) and 8.9 rebounds in 22 starts. She was also a part of the Mystics’ 2019 WNBA Championship run, in which Washington defeated Connecticut in the Finals.

Époupa, signed as a free agent on March 4, saw action in 16 games with the Lynx, averaging 0.9 points, 1.5 assists and 0.8 steals in 6.6 minutes per outing.

Koné was acquired from Chicago on April 14 and played in 17 games for Minnesota, tallying 1.2 points and 0.7 rebounds in 3.4 minutes per night.
