Milwaukee Brewers Sign 29 International Free Agents

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the signing of 29 international free agents on the first day of the 2025 international signing period. The signees include 16 players from Venezuela, 10 from the Dominican Republic, and one each from Colombia, Mexico, and Nicaragua.

  • Brailyn Antunez (Venezuela, OF): Ranked No. 42 by Baseball America and MLB Pipeline.
  • Isais Chavez (Venezuela, C): Ranked No. 90 by Baseball America.

Notable Past Signings:

  • Jackson Chourio: Became the youngest player in MLB history in 2024 (20 years, 185 days) to have a 20 HR/20 SB season. Signed by the Brewers on the first day of the 2021 international signing period.
  • Jesús Made: Enters the 2025 season as the top prospect in the organization according to Baseball America. Signed by Milwaukee on the first day of the 2024 international signing period.
