LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have announced key roster moves ahead of their upcoming matchups, recalling right-hander J.P. Feyereisen and placing Roki Sasaki on the injured list due to a right shoulder impingement.
J.P. Feyereisen – Second Stint with Dodgers
Feyereisen, 32, returns for his second stint with the Dodgers this season. In his lone previous appearance, he suffered a loss, allowing two hits and one walk. Over 11 games with Los Angeles, he has posted an 0-2 record with an 8.18 ERA.
A five-year MLB veteran, Feyereisen has also pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers (2020-21), Tampa Bay Rays (2021-22), Diamondbacks (2025), and Dodgers (2024-present). Across 96 career games, he holds a 3.07 ERA. The Wisconsin native was originally drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in 2014.
Roki Sasaki – Injury Sidelines Promising Starter
Sasaki, 23, lands on the injured list after making eight starts in his debut MLB season. The Japanese right-hander holds a 1-1 record with a 4.72 ERA, having struck out 24 batters over 34.1 innings, while keeping opponents to a .225 batting average.
The Dodgers acquired Sasaki on January 22, 2025, after his successful tenure with Japan’s Chiba Lotte Marines. In 2024, he went 10-5 with a 2.35 ERA over 111 innings, striking out 129 batters while posting a 1.036 WHIP. Over four seasons in Nippon Professional Baseball, he compiled a 30-15 record with a 2.02 ERA, totaling 524 strikeouts in 414.2 innings.
