LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have made a roster move, recalling right-handed pitcher Ryan Loutos while optioning left-hander Justin Wrobleski to the minors.
Loutos, 26, was acquired from the St. Louis Cardinals on May 1 in exchange for cash considerations. He debuted in the majors in 2024, making three appearances without allowing a run. In Triple-A Oklahoma City, Loutos pitched 3.1 scoreless innings, striking out two batters. Over five seasons in the minors, he has compiled a 4.75 ERA, tallying 249 strikeouts across 223.2 innings. Originally signed as an undrafted free agent by St. Louis in 2021, Loutos will look to bolster the Dodgers’ bullpen depth.
Wrobleski, 24, pitched four innings in his most recent outing, earning the win. The left-hander has made two appearances this season, posting an 8.00 ERA with eight strikeouts over nine innings. Since making his MLB debut in 2024, he holds a 2-3 record with a 6.15 ERA across 45.1 innings. In the minors, Wrobleski has gone 12-12 with a 3.38 ERA in 64 games. Drafted by the Dodgers in the 11th round of the 2021 MLB Draft out of Oklahoma State University, he will return to Triple-A to refine his approach.
With Loutos now in the fold, the Dodgers aim to strengthen their relief corps as they continue their push through the season.
