The Los Angeles Dodgers have activated infielder Max Muncy from the injured list and placed infielder Tommy Edman on the injured list with a sprained ankle.
Max Muncy Returns to Dodgers Lineup
Max Muncy, 34, rejoins the Dodgers after being sidelined since July 3. During his rehab stint with Triple-A Oklahoma City, Muncy went 5-for-15 with a home run across five games.
In 81 games this season, Muncy is hitting:

- 13 home runs
- 55 RBI
On May 31 vs. the Yankees, Muncy hit his 200th career home run, and he is now tied with Matt Kemp for seventh on the Dodgers’ all-time home run list with 203 homers.
Over eight seasons with Los Angeles, Muncy has compiled:

- 575 career RBI
Before joining the Dodgers, Muncy played two seasons with the Oakland Athletics, hitting five homers and driving in 17 runs across 96 games. He was selected by Oakland in the fifth round of the 2012 MLB Draft out of Baylor University.
Tommy Edman Heads to Injured List
Tommy Edman, 29, lands on the injured list for the second time this season due to a sprained ankle. In 86 games this year, Edman is batting:
