SEATTLE, WA – Seattle Reign FC is thrilled to announce that goalkeeper Claudia Dickey and forward Lynn Williams have been called up to the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) January training camp. The 26-player roster, named by head coach Emma Hayes, will participate in a key training camp that sets the stage for the 2025 SheBelieves Cup.
First Call-Up for Claudia Dickey
Claudia Dickey, who played in 18 matches for Seattle Reign FC during the 2024 season, earns her first senior call-up to the national team. The 25-year-old goalkeeper has previously been involved with the U.S. Women’s national teams at various youth levels, including the U-18, U-19, and U-20 teams. She played in four matches at the 2020 Concacaf Women’s U-20 Championship, helping the United States clinch the regional title.
Veteran Presence of Lynn Williams
Lynn Williams, who joined Seattle Reign FC in December, brings a wealth of experience to the January camp. The veteran forward, with 75 caps for the USWNT, has recorded 25 goals and 13 assists. Williams scored the game-winning goal in the USA’s final match of 2024 against the Netherlands. As the third-most capped player on the January roster, Williams’ leadership and skill will be invaluable.
USWNT January Training Camp
This training camp is an essential part of the USWNT schedule, held without any international matches. It will run concurrently with a 24-player Futures Camp featuring up-and-coming USWNT prospects, with the Futures roster announcement expected tomorrow. The camp will prepare the team for the 2025 SheBelieves Cup, where they will face No. 7-ranked Japan, No. 15-ranked Australia, and No. 21-ranked Colombia in a traditional six-game, three-matchday format.
