The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) announced today that Detroit’s three casinos — MGM Grand Detroit, MotorCity Casino, and Hollywood Casino at Greektown — generated a combined $108.2 million in revenue for November 2025.
Table games and slot machines accounted for $106.5 million, while retail sports betting contributed $1.7 million.

Table Games and Slot Machine Performance
Revenue from table games and slots rose 0.1% compared with November 2024 and 0.5% from October 2025. Year‑to‑date (Jan. 1–Nov. 30), combined table games and slots revenue was down 1.0% compared with the same period in 2024.
Casino‑specific results versus November 2024:
- MGM Grand Detroit: $50.7 million (up 3.0%)
- MotorCity Casino: $31.4 million (down 5.0%)
- Hollywood Casino at Greektown: $24.4 million (up 1.0%)
The three casinos paid $8.63 million in state gaming taxes for November 2025, slightly above the $8.62 million paid in November 2024. They also submitted $13.2 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the City of Detroit.
Retail Sports Betting
Detroit’s casinos reported a combined $14.4 million retail sports betting handle in November, generating $1.7 million in gross receipts. Qualified adjusted gross receipts (QAGR) decreased 10.8% from November 2024 but increased 10.8% from October 2025.

The casinos paid $64,553 in state taxes from retail sports betting and submitted $78,899 in wagering taxes to the City of Detroit.

Fantasy contest operators reported $921,446 in adjusted revenues for October 2025 and paid $77,401 in taxes.
