Wilson, 30, has posted a 1.69 ERA (1 ER/5.1 IP) with one save, one hold, and 10 strikeouts across five relief appearances for Charlotte this season, recording three strikeouts in three of those outings.

He was acquired from San Diego in a March 13, 2024, trade, part of a five-player deal that sent right-hander Dylan Cease to the Padres.

Over three major-league seasons with San Diego (2022-23) and Chicago (2024), Wilson holds a 6-10 career record, posting a 4.03 ERA (63 ER/140.2 IP), one save, 36 holds, and 144 strikeouts (9.21 per 9.0 IP) in 142 appearances (one start).

Meanwhile, Clevinger, 34, has struggled this season, going 0-2 with a 7.94 ERA (5 ER/5.2 IP) and three strikeouts across five relief outings with the White Sox.

Following these roster moves, the White Sox 40-man roster remains at 40.
