SERIES HISTORY: Holy Cross and Fordham meet for the 62nd time in series history and the 39th time since the Ram-Crusader Cup has been awarded to honor Major Frank Cavanaugh, who served as head coach of both programs. The Crusaders have won seven straight meetings dating back to 2017 and maintain a 34-25-2 record against the Rams. Holy Cross is 23-15 in Ram-Crusader Cup games.

PATRIOT LEAGUE FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Justin Shorter, Holy Cross, Sr., WR, Swedesboro, N.J./Blair Academy *Shorter tied a Patriot League single-game record with four touchdown receptions in Holy Cross’s 38-7 victory over Colgate in their League opener. *He posted career-bests of 11 receptions and 140 yards, while his two second-quarter touchdowns gave Holy Cross a 16-7 lead. *The senior wide receiver is the 11th player in League history and fourth in Crusaders history with a four-touchdown reception game.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FOOTBALL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gabe DuBois, Lafayette, Sr., CB, Cincinnati, Ohio/St. Xavier *DuBois finished with nine tackles and five pass breakups in Lafayette’s 28-23 victory over Fordham in their League opener. *The senior cornerback recorded pass breakups on first, second and third downs on the Rams’ final drive to help seal the Leopards’ win. He leads the League and is 13th in NCAA DI FCS with seven passes defended. *He helped Lafayette’s defense hold Fordham to 157 passing yards.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FOOTBALL SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Shelby Pruett, Colgate, Sr., P, Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest *Pruett punted three times for 136 yards for an average of 45.3 yards per punt with a long of 50 yards. *His 44.7 yards per punt average leads the Patriot League and ranks 13th in the FCS. *The senior punter improved his career punting average to 40.3, less than a yard shy of Colgate’s program record of 40.9 yards per punt.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FOOTBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Alijah Cason, Holy Cross, Fr., WR, Mansfield, Texas/First Baptist Academy *Cason caught two passes for 42 yards and had a five-yard rush in the Crusaders’ 38-7 victory over Colgate in their League opener. *The freshman wide receiver’s 42 receiving yards was a season high.

*Kozlowski finished with a game-high 12 tackles, including a career-high 10 solo stops, in the Raiders’ loss against Holy Cross. The junior linebacker leads the Patriot League with 10.8 tackles per game.

*Henderson connected on a 38-yard field goal in Fordham’s loss against Lafayette in their League opener. The freshman placekicker also converted both extra-point attempts.

*Monte registered eight tackles and recovered a fumble in Holy Cross’s 38-7 victory over Colgate in the Crusaduers’ League opener. He led a Holy Cross defensive effort that held the Raiders to seven points, including zero in the second half.
Jakob Trestik, Lafayette, Sr., P/K, Irvine, Calif./Woodbridge
*Trestik handled punting and kickoff duties for the Leopards in their 28-23 victory over Fordham. He averaged 44.3 yards per punt on three attempts with a long of 49 yards. The Irvine, Calif. native also registered touchbacks on all four of his kickoff attempts.

WEEK FIVE RECAP:
• Sr. LB Brad Jamison forced a fumble and So. LB Gavin Willis recovered to secure Bucknell’s 38-35 double-overtime victory over Lehigh. The fumble recovery came after Jr. PK Matt Schearer’s 42-yard field goal to open the second overtime period. • The Bison erased a 14-0 deficit in the second quarter as So. WR TJ Cadden returned a kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown, his third special teams score of the season, and the seventh 100-yard kickoff return in Patriot League history. • Willis recorded his first of two fumble recoveries on Lehigh’s ensuing drive, setting up a 31-yard touchdown pass from Sr. QB Ralph Rucker IV to Jr. WR Eric Weatherly on the next play from scrimmage. • Willis finished with nine tackles, 2.0 TFLs, two sacks and two fumble recoveries, while Sr. S John Schlendorf finished with a team-high 13 tackles and 1.0 TFL. • Jr. CB Aaron Davis returned an interception 79 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

WEEK SIX RECAP:
• Jr. WR Brady Hutchison led the Raiders’ offense with six catches for 102 yards, including a 57-yard touchdown reception from So. QB Jake Stearney. Hutchison’s 102 receiving yards was a single-game career high. • Stearney completed 23-of-33 passes for 182 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. His touchdown pass to Hutchison was the longest of his career. • So. RB Chris Gee led the Raiders with 58 rushing yards on six carries. • Jr. LB Cole Kozlowski registered a game-high 12 tackles. He has recorded double-digit tackles in four games this season. Kozlowski leads the Patriot League with 10.8 tackles per game, ranking 13th in NCAA DI FCS. • So. DB Tymir Wynn made his first collegiate interception. Wynn also recorded five tackles. • Against Penn in Week Five, Jr. WR Treyvhon Saunders tied a PL single-game record with 16 receptions.

• Sr. RB Julius Loughridge rushed for 79 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Loughridge leads the League with 102.8 rushing yards per game. • Sr. DL Matt Jaworski blocked a punt to set up Loughridge’s second touchdown of the day to bring the Rams within five points in the fourth quarter. He finished with four tackles and 1.5 TFLs. • So. DL Nate Lindsey-Gill blocked a Leopards’ field-goal attempt with 3:30 left in the fourth quarter. • Jr. QB Jack Capaldi completed 21-of-39 passes for 157 yards, an interception. He also rushed for a career-high 83 yards on eight carries, including a 38-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. • Sr. LB James Conway posted a game-high 13 tackles in his first game of the season. WEEK FIVE RECAP:
• Jr. QB Danny Lauter found Jr. WR Nicholas Dunneman for a 16- yard touchdown pass with 1:10 remaining in the game to lift Georgetown to a 20-17 victory over Columbia to claim the Lou Little Trophy. • Lauter and Dunneman connected on a pair of second-half touchdowns to help the Hoyas overcome an early 14-0 deficit, bringing the trophy back to D.C. for the first time since 2019. • Lauter completed 25-of-33 passes for 292 yards and two touchdown passes, while Dunneman caught eight passes for 111 yards and two scores. • Jr. WR Jimmy Kibble posted team-highs of 10 receptions and 164 yards. *Georgetown’s defense forced three Lions’ turnovers, with Sr. DB Preston Murray intercepting two passes and So. DB Zeraun Daniel picking off one. So. LB GianCarlo Rufo recovered a fumble for the Hoyas. • Georgetown’s defense held Columbia to three points in the second half.

His .893 completion percentage is the second-best mark in Holy Cross history. • Trailing 7-3 in the second quarter, Pesansky and Shorter connected for a pair of scores to take control, giving the Crusaders a 16-7 lead by halftime. The duo added 15-yard touchdown plays in the third and fourth quarters to put the game out of reach. • Jr. WR Max Mosey added the Crusaders’ final touchdown, scoring on a one-yard run to make the score 38-7. • So. LB Drew Spinogatti recorded a team-high nine tackles, and Sr. LB Frankie Monte added eight.

• Sr. CB Gabe DuBois broke up three passes on the Rams’ final drive to help Leopards hold on for a 28-23 victory at Fordham to open League play. • DuBois finished with nine tackles and five passes defended, while Sr. LB Preston Forney posted 12 tackles, 2.0 TFLs, one sack and a forced fumble. • Jr. QB Dean DeNobile completed 13-of-18 passes for 124 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Leopards to a 1-0 start in League play. • Jr. RB Jamar Curtis finished with 111 yards on 18 carries. Curtis is third in the League in rushing (80.0 ypg). • So. RB Troy Bruce finished with 72 rushing yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. His one-yard TD in the third quarter gave Lafayette a 21-17 lead. • Lafayette took an early 14-0 lead, with DeNobile throwing touchdown passes to So. TE Ethan Hosak and Sr. WR Chris Carasia in the first quarter. Carasia’s five TD receptions is tied for the League lead.

RB Luke Yoder finished with 137 yards and three touchdowns, including one in the first overtime, on 22 carries. • Lehigh jumped out to a 14-0 lead behind a pair of touchdown receptions from Jr. WR Geoffrey Jamiel. • Jamiel’s first score came on a 23-yard pass from Gr. QB Dante Perri, and the second on a 34-yard pass from Fy. QB Hayden Johnson. Jamiel finished with 136 yards and two scores on nine receptions. • Johnson completed 17-of-23 passes for 200 yards, one touchdown and one interception. •So. WR Mason Humphrey caught nine passes for 109 yards. • Gr. LB Mike DeNucci posted 12 tackles and 1.0 TFL, and Jr. S Nick Peltekian added nine tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
