- Boston College started the season 1-3 for the second consecutive year and the fifth time since 2011. The Eagles last rallied from 1-3 to reach a bowl game in 2017.
- UConn is 1-6 on the season, with the lone win coming on the road at Rice (38-31) on Oct. 7.
- The Huskies are 0-2 versus the ACC this year, with losses at home to NC State (24-14) on Aug. 31 and Duke (41-7) on Sept. 23.
- BC quarterback Thomas Castellanos is one of four quarterbacks in the country with 1,000 passing yards and 500 rushing yards. He is one of four FBS quarterbacks with multiple 100-yard rushing games and the only Power 5 quarterback with multiple 100-yard rushing games.

- Three of the last six contests between Clemson and NC State have been one score games and two of the last six have gone into at least one overtime.
- Saturday’s contest will feature two head coaches each attempting to rewrite his respective school’s record book. Clemson’s Dabo Swinney will attempt to earn his 166th career victory as head coach of the Tigers to pass Frank Howard for sole possession of the most career head coaching wins at Clemson. NC State Dave Doeren (76) enters the game one victory shy of tying Earle Edwards (77) as the winningest coach in Wolfpack history.
- The Tigers will attempt to rebound this week following a double-overtime road loss to Miami (Fla.). Clemson has not lost consecutive games in a single season since November 2011. Clemson’s 161 consecutive games played without consecutive losses in the same season is the program’s longest streak in school history as well as the nation’s longest active streak.
- The Wolfpack are also coming off a loss, falling to Duke prior to their opening week last week.

- Heading into the top-20 matchup on Saturday, both the Duke Blue Devils and Louisville Cardinals are coming off road losses. Saturday’s game marks the first time these two programs have met while both are nationally ranked.
- Louisville is Duke’s fourth nationally-ranked opponent faced in its opening eight games. The last time the Blue Devils faced four ranked opponents in the same season was in 2013.
- Louisville is looking for its first nine-game home winning streak since the 2015 and 2016 seasons. The Cardinals are looking for their second-straight win over opponents ranked in the Associated Press Poll for the first time since defeating West Virginia and Florida in 2011.
- Louisville is 18th in total offense (460.7 ypg) and 25th in total defense (317.9 ypg), one of two ACC teams in the top 25 on both.
