  • Louisville holds an 8-4 overall lead in the series, but NC State has won two of the last three games played at Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, North Carolina. • The Wolfpack has won its last seven ACC home openers. The last time NC State lost its first league game at home was in 2015 to Louisville (L, 20-13). • NC State has opened the 2023 season with a 3-1 record, with its only loss coming to then-10th-ranked Notre Dame.   • Clemson is seeking its first conference win of 2023 and will attempt to hand Syracuse its first loss of the 2023 campaign when the two teams meet this Saturday. • Clemson has not lost consecutive games in a single season since November 2011. Clemson’s 158 consecutive games played without back-to-back losses in the same season are the program’s longest streak in school history and the nation’s longest active streak. • Syracuse will try to start the campaign with five straight victories for the second consecutive year and the third time since 1987 when the Orange went 11-0-1 overall. • Syracuse is one of only two FBS schools that rank in the top seven nationally in both scoring offense and scoring defense. The other is Oklahoma. • The contest will feature the ACC’s two active leaders in career rushing touchdowns. Syracuse quarterback Garrett Shrader leads the ACC and ranks second in the nation with 35 career rushing touchdowns, while Clemson running back Will Shipley ranks second in the ACC and is tied for eighth nationally with 27 career rushing touchdowns.

The Cavaliers last visited Boston College in 2010. • Both teams are searching for their first ACC win. • Boston College quarterback Thomas Castellanos ranks 24th in the country with 66 points responsible for. He has accounted for 11 total touchdowns, including eight through the air and three on the ground. • Dating back to last season, UVA has lost seven straight games and is 0-4 for the first time since 1982.   • Georgia Tech will host Bowling Green for just the second time on Saturday, as the two teams met back in 2018, a 63-17 win for the Yellow Jackets. • Georgia Tech is second in the ACC in fewest sacks allowed at 0.75 per game and in third-down conversion percentage at 51.7 percent this season. • GT quarterback Haynes King is tied for the ACC lead with 11 passing touchdowns and is second in both passing yards 1,132 and passing yards per game 283.0. • The Yellow Jackets offense ranks 17th nationally at 480.0 yards per game. • Bowling Green is playing in the state of Georgia for just the second time in program history. • Bowling Green has limited all four of its opponents this season to under 400 yards of total offense, including Liberty (389), who currently ranks No. 11 nationally (501.0 ypg).   • Duke will wrap its non-conference slate versus No. 11 Notre Dame in primetime on Saturday night. • Saturday will be the eighth meeting between Notre Dame and Duke, but the first with both teams ranked in the Associated Press Top 25. • Duke is 4-0 this season, with four consecutive 20-plus point wins, marking the first time in program history. • Duke ranks first in the ACC and fourth nationally in scoring defense, having allowed just 8.8 points per game. • Notre Dame is hoping to extend its 29-game regular season win streak against Atlantic Coast Conference teams this weekend at Duke.
