OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Bryson Daily • Sr. • QB • Army

Daily led No. 23 Army to its 11th consecutive win as the Black Knights topped East Carolina 45-28 at West Point. Daily rushed for 171 yards and five touchdowns on 31 carries, while he completed 7-of-10 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown to account for six total TDs, becoming the first Army player since 1916 to figure in six touchdowns. Daily has a program-record 19 rushing touchdowns this season, the most of any FBS player, while his 909 rushing yards ranks third nationally.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dashaun Peele • Sr. • CB • Navy

Peele keyed No. 25 Navy’s defensive effort as the Midshipmen remained unbeaten, improving to 6-0 for the first time since 1979 with a 51-17 win against Charlotte. Peele led the way with two interception returns for touchdowns, becoming the first Navy player to accomplish the feat and the second American Athletic Conference player two pick-sixes in a game. He had a 61-yard return in the second quarter and an 84-yard return in the third as he finished with 145 return yards to go with a sack and a pass breakup.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jonah Delange • So. • K • UAB

Delange accounted for more than half of the Blazers’ scoring as he scored 13 points in a 35-25 setback at South Florida. Delange made all four of his field goal attempts, connecting from 41, 29, 32 and 48 yards to stake the Blazers to a 19-7 lead in the third quarter before the Bulls rallied for the win. Delange has been the most efficient kicker in the nation this season, going 14-for-14 on field goals and 13-for-13 on PATs.
