CFB-D2: Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Week 4 Release and Previews

Most of the GLIAC will play the role of road warriors in Week 4 of the 2024 season, as five of the six squads in action will be away from home. 

No. 2 Grand Valley State (3-0) is the lone conference team to play at home this week. The Lakers are set to host No. 21 West Florida (1-1) on Saturday in a battle of ranked powers at 3 p.m. at Lubbers Stadium. The road game for the Argonauts, who were upset by No. 23 West Alabama last week, is their first of the season. 

No. 5 Ferris State (2-1) is back on the gridiron after a bye week, traveling to the east coast to face American International (1-2) in Springfield, Mass. at 12 p.m.

Saginaw Valley State (2-1), coming off a dominating home win over Truman State, is back on the road, visiting the Circle City for a night contest against No. 15 UIndy (2-1).

Davenport (2-1) will journey to its third different state through the season’s first four games, heading to Missouri this time for 2 p.m. ET matchup against undefeated William Jewell (3-0).  

Wayne State (0-3) is also in Missouri, taking on Truman State (0-3). Kick off is set for 2 p.m. ET at Stokes Stadium in Kirksville.

Roosevelt (0-2) ventures to Kentucky to square off with NAIA opponent Campbellsville (4-0) on Saturday. The Lakers fell in overtime to FCS foe Valparaiso last week while the Tigers trounced Bluefield, 69-37.

Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan are on a bye this week. The Huskies begin GLIAC play at home next week versus Wayne State while the Wildcats host Saginaw Valley State in its conference opener.
