BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox today announced they have signed outfielder Roman Anthony to a long-term contract extension that spans eight years, covering the 2026 through 2033 seasons, with a club option for 2034.

At just 21 years old, Anthony has quickly emerged as one of baseball’s brightest young talents. Since making his Major League debut on June 9, he has posted impressive numbers:

- .828 OPS
- 27 runs, 15 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs, 19 RBI
- 26 walks in 46 games
- Reached base safely in 35 of his last 38 games
- .442 on-base percentage since June 18 – 2nd-best in MLB during that span
