BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox have reached agreements on one-year contracts for the 2025 season with Kutter Crawford, Garrett Crochet, and Tanner Houck. With these agreements, outfielder Jarren Duran remains the only Red Sox player eligible for salary arbitration.
Kutter Crawford:
- Age: 28
- 2024 Performance: Crawford tied the Major League lead with a career-high 33 starts in 2024. He led the Red Sox with career highs in innings pitched (183.2) and strikeouts (175), recording a 4.36 ERA. Selected by Boston in the 16th round of the 2017 draft, the Florida native owns a career 4.56 ERA in 86 MLB games (69 starts), all with the Red Sox (2021-24).
Garrett Crochet:
- Age: 25
- 2024 Performance: Crochet was acquired by Boston from the Chicago White Sox on December 11, 2024. The left-hander was named a 2024 All-Star, making 32 starts for Chicago and posting a 3.58 ERA with 209 strikeouts. Originally selected by the White Sox in the first round of the 2020 draft, the Mississippi native has a career 3.29 ERA with 294 strikeouts in 104 MLB games (32 starts), all with Chicago (2020-24).
Tanner Houck:
- Age: 28
- 2024 Performance: Houck earned his first career All-Star selection in 2024, posting a 3.12 ERA with 154 strikeouts in 30 starts. Selected by Boston in the first round of the 2017 draft, the Missouri native owns a career 3.55 ERA in 104 MLB games, all with the Red Sox (2020-24).
