The Orioles have announced the acquisition of left-handed pitcher Grant Wolfram from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for minor league outfielder Daz Cameron and cash considerations. Wolfram has been optioned to Triple-A Norfolk.

Wolfram (pronounced WOHL-fram), 28, received his first career major league call-up on April 6 but was optioned back to Triple-A Nashville without making an appearance. Earlier today, he was designated for assignment. In two games with Nashville this season, Wolfram recorded a 6.00 ERA (2 earned runs across 3.0 innings), allowing four walks and striking out three.
Signed to a one-year major league deal by the Brewers on December 12, 2024, Wolfram originally entered professional baseball when the Texas Rangers selected him in the 18th round of the 2018 First-Year Player Draft out of Davenport University (MI). Over eight professional seasons, Wolfram has amassed a 24-11 record with nine saves and a 3.99 ERA (146 earned runs in 329.0 innings). He has allowed 289 hits (28 home runs), 164 total runs, 168 walks, and 17 hit batters while striking out 403 batters across 177 games (25 starts).
Cameron, also 28, has started the 2025 season at Triple-A Norfolk, batting .222 (4-for-18) with one double, one run scored, three RBIs, and two walks in five games. Acquired by the Orioles from the Athletics on October 31, 2024, for cash considerations, Cameron participated in the 2025 Spring Training as a non-roster invitee.
To accommodate Wolfram on the 40-man roster, the Orioles have transferred right-handed pitcher Albert Suárez (right subscapularis strain) to the 60-day Injured List. The team’s 40-man roster is now full.
