NEW YORK – Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons and Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little are the AFC Players of the Month for December/January (Weeks 14-18).

OFFENSE: QB TREVOR LAWRENCE, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

  • Lawrence completed 105 of 165 attempts (63.6 percent) for 1,371 passing yards for a 113.5 passer rating and had a league-high 17 touchdowns (13 passing, 4 rushing). He was one of two AFC quarterbacks to have at least 1,350 passing yards during December and January.
  • This is Lawrence’s first Player of the Month award and he becomes the first Jacksonville quarterback to earn the honor since Mark Brunell (December, 1996). He is also the fifth Jaguars player to win an Offensive Player of the Month award and the first since Fred Taylor (December, 2007).
  • Lawrence is one of two former Clemson quarterbacks to win Offensive Player of the Month, joining Deshaun Watson (October, 2017 and October, 2019).

DEFENSE: DT JEFFERY SIMMONS, TENNESSEE TITANS

  • In December and January, Simmons recorded 26 tackles, two forced fumbles, 4.5 sacks and seven tackles for loss. He was one of three defensive tackles to record at least 25 tackles and was the only player to record at least four sacks and two forced fumbles in December and January.
  • This is Simmons’ first Player of the Month award and the second by a Titans defensive tackle, joining Albert Haynesworth (September, 2008).
  • Simmons joins Fletcher Cox (September, 2016) as the only former Mississippi State defensive tackles to earn Defensive Player of the Month.

SPECIAL TEAMS: K CAM LITTLE, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

  • Little converted on all 12 of his field goal attempts – including a 67-yard field goal in Week 18 – 3/3 3-of-3 on 50+ yards and all 21 of his extra point attempts, leading the NFL with 54 total points scored. A 67-yard field goal is the second-longest in NFL history, trailing only his 68-yarder in Week 9, the longest scored in NFL history.
  • This marks Little’s first Player of the Month honor, joining Brandon McManus (October, 2023) as the only Jaguars kickers to win Special Teams Players of the Month.
  • Little is the only former Arkansas kicker to win AFC Player of the Month.
