The North Carolina State Lottery Commission has published its November 2025 sports wagering revenue report, detailing activity from the state’s eight licensed interactive operators.
From 1–30 November, North Carolina account holders wagered a total of $813.97 million on sporting events, including both cash and promotional bets. Bettors collected $717.57 million in winnings during the month.
Under state law, sports wagering operators are subject to an 18 percent tax on gross wagering revenue, defined as total wagers received minus winnings paid, before deductions for expenses, fees, or taxes.
For November, gross wagering revenue across all operators reached $92.94 million. Applying the statutory tax rate, the projected proceeds amount to $16.73 million, which will be collected by the North Carolina Department of Revenue.
