Boston Red Sox announce two roster transactions

BOSTON, MA – The Boston Red Sox today announced the following roster moves:

  • The Red Sox will not tender 2026 contracts to infielder Nathaniel Lowe and right-handed pitcher Josh Winckowski. As a result, both players will become free agents.
  • The Red Sox will tender 2026 contracts to all 26 remaining unsigned players on their Major League roster. Fourteen players are already under contract for 2026: Roman Anthony, Brayan BelloKristian Campbell, Aroldis ChapmanCooper CriswellGarrett CrochetJarren DuranJordan HicksCeddanne RafaelaPatrick SandovalTrevor StoryGarrett WhitlockConnor Wong, and Masataka Yoshida.
