LANSING, Mich. – Michigan’s commercial and tribal internet gaming operators reported $302.7 million in gross receipts from internet gaming and sports betting during September 2025, a 3.1% decline compared to August.
Gross Receipts
- iGaming: $259.1 million (down from $263.27 million in August)
- Sports Betting: $43.6 million (down from $49.27 million in August)
Adjusted Gross Receipts (AGR)
- Combined AGR: $256.6 million
- iGaming AGR: $243.4 million (↓ 1.5% from August; ↑ 33.5% year-over-year)
- Sports Betting AGR: $13.2 million (↓ 61.3% from August; ↓ 52.0% year-over-year)
Handle
- Sports Betting Handle: $524.3 million, a 54.7% increase from August’s $338.9 million.
State Taxes and Payments
Operators submitted $51.6 million in state taxes and fees, including:
- iGaming: $50.8 million
- Sports Betting: $768,038
City of Detroit Taxes and Payments
Detroit’s three commercial casinos reported $13.4 million in wagering taxes and municipal service fees, including:
- iGaming: $13.0 million
- Sports Betting: $375,738
Tribal Operator Payments
Tribal operators reported $6.1 million in payments to their governing bodies.
