EDMONTON — The Edmonton Elks have bolstered their defensive front with the signing of lineman Jordan Williams, the club announced Thursday.

Williams arrives in Edmonton after spending the past two seasons (2023–24) with the Toronto Argonauts, where he helped the Double Blue capture the 2024 Grey Cup. In 19 career CFL appearances, he has tallied 22 tackles and two sacks.

Before heading north, the 26‑year‑old suited up for the USFL’s Memphis Showboats in 2023, producing 21 tackles and 5.5 sacks over nine games. He also spent time with the Miami Dolphins after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2022.

A native of Virginia Beach, Va., Williams played his college football at both Virginia Tech and Clemson. While with the Tigers, he was part of the squad that claimed the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship with a 44‑16 victory over Alabama.
