New York City FC has officially signed forward Sebastiano Musu to a Short-Term Agreement from their MLS NEXT Pro affiliate, New York City FC II. Musu becomes the latest young talent to make the leap from the developmental squad to the senior roster.
Since joining NYCFC II for the 2025 campaign, Musu has impressed with three goals and multiple assists across 12 appearances. He made headlines earlier this season with a spectacular bicycle-kick equalizer against Chicago Fire II, following a debut performance versus Red Bulls II.

Under MLS roster regulations, clubs may sign eligible players (25 or younger) to up to four Short-Term Agreements per season. These signings allow individuals to feature on a maximum of four MLS matchday rosters, though participation is capped at two official league matches. Players may appear in an unlimited number of non-league contests during their short-term tenure.
Musu has traveled with the first team to Orlando and is available for selection for tonight’s fixture.
