Dunning, 30, rejoins the Rangers for his second stint of the 2025 season. He previously appeared on the active roster from April 28–29 before being designated for assignment and outrighted to Round Rock on May 3. His lone Major League outing this season came on April 29 against Oakland, where he recorded a 3-inning save (3.0 IP, 4 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO, 1 HR, 52 pitches/31 strikes).

In 12 appearances (11 starts) with the Express this year, Dunning has gone 2–1 with a 4.47 ERA (23 ER/46.1 IP), 49 strikeouts, and a 1.27 WHIP. He earned a no-decision in his most recent outing on June 20 at Oklahoma City (4.2 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 SO, 1 HR, 66 pitches).

A veteran of 125 Major League games (102 starts) between the White Sox and Rangers, Dunning owns a career record of 28–32 with a 4.36 ERA (279 ER/575.2 IP) and one save.

Boushley (pronounced BAHZ-lee) returns to Triple-A after making 15 relief appearances for Texas across two call-ups this year (April 8–27, May 1–June 22). He carries a 5.04 ERA (17 ER/30.1 IP) at the MLB level. Most recently, he logged 4.0 innings of long relief in Sunday’s 8–3 loss in Pittsburgh, tossing 72 pitches. With the Express, Boushley has posted a 1.69 ERA in three starts this season.

Following today’s moves, the Rangers’ 40-man roster is full. Three players remain on the 60-day injured list: LHP Cody Bradford, RHP Jon Gray, and RHP Josh Sborz.
