The total gross gaming revenue (GGR) for April 2025 was $6.34 billion versus $5.973 billion in April 2024. March Madness again bled into April, keeping the sports betting excitement alive. In April, the national sports betting handle was $11.145 billion without Illinois and Arkansas; with those two the total will likely be $13 billion. The gross gaming revenue was $1.0 billion, again without those two states. Igaming was another factor; in April igaming GGR reached $800 million. Illinois, New Hampshire, and Virginia are adding product and gaming revenues are growing significantly. The growth in Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania was driven by igaming and mobile sports wagering.
