LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have made two roster moves ahead of their upcoming games, claiming right-handed pitcher J.P. Feyereisen off waivers from the Arizona Diamondbacks and acquiring right-handed pitcher Ryan Loutos from the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for cash considerations.

To create space on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers have transferred right-handed pitchers Michael Kopech and Blake Treinen to the 60-day injured list.

J.P. Feyereisen’s Profile

Feyereisen, 32, made two appearances for the Diamondbacks before being designated for assignment on April 27, allowing two earned runs over two innings while striking out two.

This marks Feyereisen’s second stint with the Dodgers, having pitched 10 games for Los Angeles in 2024, recording an 0-1 mark with an 8.18 ERA. Over his five-year Major League career, Feyereisen has played for the Milwaukee Brewers (2020-21), Tampa Bay Rays (2021-22), Dodgers (2024), and Diamondbacks (2025), compiling a 3.07 ERA in 95 career appearances.

A Wisconsin native, Feyereisen was originally drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the 16th round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of Wisconsin-Stevens Point University.

Ryan Loutos’ Profile

Loutos, 26, was designated for assignment on April 28 after starting the season with Triple-A Memphis, where he posted a 3.38 ERA in eight games.

The right-hander made his MLB debut in 2024, appearing in three games without allowing a run. Across five minor league seasons, Loutos owns a 4.82 ERA, with 247 strikeouts in 220.1 innings pitched.

Originally an undrafted free agent, he was signed by the Cardinals in 2021 and has worked his way up through the system.

With these moves, the Dodgers bolster their pitching depth while navigating injuries to key rotation pieces.
