MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have recalled left-handed pitcher Kody Funderburk from Triple-A St. Paul.

Funderburk has thrown 5.2 scoreless innings with one hit allowed, two walks and seven strikeouts in four relief appearances for the Saints this season. The 28-year-old pitched in 27 games for Minnesota in 2024, going 1-0 with one save, five holds, a 6.49 ERA (34.2 IP, 25 ER), 15 walks, 32 strikeouts and a 1.62 WHIP.

To make room for Funderburk on the 26-man roster, the Twins have designated right-handed pitcher Scott Blewett for release or assignment. Blewett made two appearances since joining the Twins on April 7, pitching 4.2 innings with one run allowed, four hits, no walks and five strikeouts.
