LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers placed first baseman Freddie Freeman on the 10-day injured list.

Freeman, 35, placed on the injured list with a right ankle sprain, retroactive to March 31. He has played in three games this season, clubbing two homers in 12 at-bats. He is in his fourth season with the Dodgers and has slashed .314/.398/.522 with 74 homers and 295 RBI in 566 games. The 2024 World Series MVP has played 16 Major League seasons, tallying 2,035 games with 345 homers and 1,236 RBI. The eight-time All-Star was originally drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the second round of the 2007 First Year Player Draft out of El Modena High School (Orange, CA).
