The three Detroit casinos collectively reported $98.8 million in aggregate revenue for February 2025. Table games and slots generated $98.0 million in revenue, while retail sports betting contributed $815,561.

Monthly Table Games, Slot Revenue, and Taxes: In February 2025, revenue from table games and slots at the three Detroit casinos decreased by 6.4% compared to February 2024. Monthly revenue was also down by 4.2% compared to January 2025. However, from January 1 through February 28, table games and slots revenue increased by 0.8% compared to the same period last year.

In February 2025, the casinos paid $7.9 million in state gaming taxes, compared to $8.5 million paid in February 2024. Additionally, the casinos submitted $11.7 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments to the City of Detroit.

Monthly Retail Sports Betting Revenue and Taxes: The three Detroit casinos reported an $8.2 million total retail sports betting handle, with total gross receipts of $820,450 in February. Retail sports betting qualified adjusted gross receipts (QAGR) increased by $940,414 compared to February 2024, but decreased by $1.7 million compared to January 2025.

During February, the casinos paid $30,828 in gaming taxes to the state and reported $37,679 in wagering taxes to the City of Detroit based on their retail sports betting revenue.

Fantasy Contests: For January 2025, fantasy contest operators reported total adjusted revenues of $1.3 million and paid taxes amounting to $109,531.
