SCOTTSDALE – The Colorado Rockies have announced the following roster transactions for their Spring Training:

  • Infielder/outfielder Greg Jones has been optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.
  • Left-handed pitcher Jack O’Loughlin has been reassigned to the Minor League camp.
  • Infielder Ryan Ritter has been reassigned to the Minor League camp.
  • Outfielder Cole Carrigg has been reassigned to the Minor League camp.
  • Outfielder Benny Montgomery has been reassigned to the Minor League camp.
  • Outfielder Sterlin Thompson has been reassigned to the Minor League camp.

The Rockies now have 52 players remaining in Major League camp, which includes 14 non-roster invitees. There are 39 players on the 40-man roster, with 38 in camp.
