TORONTO — The Toronto Blue Jays have signed left-handed pitcher Ryan Yarbrough to a Minor League contract with an invitation to the 2025 Major League Spring Training.

Yarbrough, 33, split last season between the Dodgers and Blue Jays, making 44 appearances and recording a 3.19 ERA over 98.2 innings with a 1.03 WHIP. Following his trade to the Blue Jays at the deadline, he excelled in 12 games, posting a 2.01 ERA, a 0.80 WHIP, and holding opponents to a .173 batting average.

Originally from Austin, TX, Yarbrough was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 4th round of the 2014 MLB Draft. He made his Major League debut with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2018. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound reliever has appeared in 196 MLB games (68 starts) over seven seasons with the Rays, Royals, Dodgers, and Blue Jays, compiling a 53-40 record with a 4.21 ERA in 768.0 innings and a 1.18 WHIP.
