The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball has announced the suspension of two Minor League players for violations of their respective Drug Prevention and Treatment Programs.
Free agent Minor League pitcher Jeison Pena has been handed an 80-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol, a performance-enhancing substance, in violation of the Joint Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.
Colorado Rockies Minor League pitcher Ulises Reyes, currently on the roster of the Dominican Summer League Rockies, has received a 56-game suspension without pay after testing positive for Stanozolol. This violation falls under the Drug Prevention and Treatment Program for Minor League players assigned outside the United States and Canada.
