Joe Joyce is a British Olympian who won silver at the 2016 Games. In fact, he came very close to winning the gold medal, but the judges scored (somewhat controversially) in his opponent’s favor, so he lost by a split decision.

After going pro a year later, he’s achieved significant success, even getting ahold of the WVC Silver, WBO International, WBO interim, and several other titles. His record is 16-2, with both of those losses happening to Zhilei Zhang, who took his championship belts away from him.

Both of those bouts happened last time, but since then, he’s bounced back onto the winning track with a KO win over Kash Ali last March. It was the 15th time in his career that he defeated someone by this method.

Derek Chisora is four inches shorter than Joyce and has a 6.5-inch shorter reach. His record is also not as impressive as the one of Joyce as he is 34-13. But he does have one advantage – his vast experience.

Not only does he have 47 bouts under his belt, but he’s fought against some of the greatest heavyweights of his generation, including Vitali Klitschko, Tyson Fury, and Oleksandr Usyk. However, he lost to all of them. Chisora is 2-4 since the start of the decade, but in his most recent bout, he defeated Gerald Washington by unanimous decision after 10 rounds at The O2.
