Arnold Allen (19-3) lost his two fights and is desperate to get back onto the winning track ASAP. It won’t be easy for him to do it at UFC 304 as he’s taking on Giga Chikadze (15-3), a fighter who lost just one fight in the last six years. The good news for Allen is that he’ll probably have the crowd at Co-op Live on his side given that the event is taking place in his home country of England.

Arnold Allen is 30, but he’s been in the UFC for more than eight years, during which he’s faced some real superstars of the sport. He’s got Sodiq Yusuff, Dan Hooker, and Calvin Kattar, amongst others, while his two UFC wins happened against Max Holloway and Movsar Evloev, each by decision after five rounds of fighting.
He’s currently 6th in the UFC Featherweight Rankings, but another loss could see him drop down. Likewise, if he wins on July 27, we could see him get a few spots higher. This goes especially if he manages to inflict Giga Chikadze his first-ever loss by KO/TKO.
Allen definitely has the ability to do so, the evidence being that seven of his 17 wins happened by this method. This guy doesn’t land too big a volume of strikes (3.39 per 60 seconds), but his kicks and punches are very precise and incredibly powerful.
Giga Chikadze is 15-3 with zero losses by knockout. He’s got one defeat by submission and two by decision. The submission loss happened a long time ago, back in 2018 in Dana White’s Contender Series. Since then, he’s 10-1, with the only loss happening to Calvin Kattar by decision.
His strongest weapon is striking, with his average being 4.08 significant strikes a minute. Not only is he quick with his hands, but his punches are also devastating for his opponents. The evidence is that he’s got nine wins by KO/TKO in his portfolio.
Chikadze is also very athletic and has a very strong chin, so he should be able to go to war with Allen on July 27. These two are great strikers with amazing stamina, so they can definitely keep on fighting for the full 15 minutes.
