Dodgers recall Landon Knack

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled right-handed pitcher Landon Knack and optioned right-handed pitcher J.P. Feyereisen to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Knack, 26, will make his fifth appearance for the Dodgers this season. He owns a 1-1 record with a 2.61 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 20.2 innings in four starts for Los Angeles. He made 10 appearances (nine starts) for Triple-A Oklahoma City this season, allowing 19 runs in 48.2 innings with 52 strikeouts. Last season, he split the campaign between Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City and went a combined 5-1 with a 2.51 ERA and 99 strikeouts in 100.1 innings. He has made 65 appearances (59 starts) in the minor leagues, and he has racked up 313 strikeouts in 275.2 innings while opponents have hit .232 against the Tennessee native. He was drafted by the Dodgers in the second round of the 2020 First Year Player Draft out of East Tennessee State University.

Feyereisen, 31, pitched on Tuesday night, allowing four runs in 2.0 innings and snapping a scoreless streak of 8.2 innings. He has made 10 appearances for the Dodgers this season, posting an 8.18 ERA with nine strikeouts in 11 innings. He has been in the Major Leagues parts of four seasons with Milwaukee (2020-2021), Tampa Bay (2021-2022) and Los Angeles (2024) and he is a combined 8-5 with a 2.95 ERA and five saves. He was originally drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the 16th round of the 2014 First Year Player Draft out of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
