Minnesota Lynx Sign Ruthy Hebard to Training Camp Contract

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forward Ruthy Hebard (HE-bird) to a training camp contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.

The Fairbanks, Alaska native was selected eighth overall in the 2020 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky. In the 2023 season, Hebard averaged 3.9 points on 58.5% shooting and 2.4 rebounds in 9.2 minutes of play. Across 95 games (12 starts) with the Sky, she has amassed career totals of 429 points, 305 rebounds, 49 assists and 43 steals. The 6-4 Oregon product averaged a career-high 16.8 minutes, 5.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in Chicago’s 2021 WNBA Championship season.
